Redmi and POCO phones get BIS certification in preparation for launch
The Xiaomi range is expected to introduce new smartphones very soon, as the company’s next big release will be the Redmi K50 series, and it is also expected to announce cheap budget models of the Redmi and POCO brands.
In addition to premium flagship phones such as the successor to the Mi 11 Ultra and Mi MIX Fold, amid this, two mysterious phones from the company have appeared on one of the certification sites.
according to Xiaomiui Three smartphones of the Xiaomi range have been certified by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). This indicates that those devices with model numbers 22021211RI, 22041219PI and 22011119I may be launched in India.
Of the three, one with model number 22021211RI had already received BIS certification in early February a month before now. The Chinese version of this phone with model number 22021211RC is said to be official as the Redmi K50.
According to the TENAA platform, the so-called Redmi K50 will be available in three memory configurations as follows:
* 6 GB random memory (RAM) + 128 GB internal storage.
* 8 GB (RAM) + 128 GB storage.
* 8 GB (RAM) + 256 GB storage.
It is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and is expected to look like a vivo phone.
According to Xiaomiui, the device will be launched under the POCO brand in India, and it may become as official as the POCO F4.
