Technical reports stated that Samsung was subjected to a devastating cyber attack that led to the leakage of a lot of confidential data over the Internet, indicating that a hacking group was behind this attack on the technology giant.
Details of the attack on Samsung
indicate Reports Until Samsung’s secret source code was leaked in this attack along with other confidential data, the hackers provided a list of all the data leaked in this security breach.
The Lapsus$ group claimed responsibility for the attack. They posted a screenshot of C/C++ in Samsung software to show that they will be releasing the data online.
Then a description of the leak was published, mentioning the source code of every Trusted Applet installed in Samsung’s TrustZone environment used for encryption, access control, hardware encryption, etc. Compressed leaked online.

Recently, Lapsus$ appeared in the news for an online NVIDIA data leak, as nearly 1 terabyte of data was lost in the cyber attack, the group demanded that the company disable LHR on its graphics cards to unleash its full crypto-mining capabilities.

It is not clear whether Lapsus$ has made any claims to Samsung. A report from South Korea indicates that Samsung officials are assessing the situation, and the company hasn’t said anything else about the leak yet.
