The Galaxy A73 5G has been spotted on the benchmark bench Geekbench 5as it bears the model number SM-A736B, which means that it will be the 5G model that will be launched in the global markets.

More importantly, it looks like the Galaxy A73 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor that was used in the amazing Galaxy A52s launched last year.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processors proved their power last year with the Galaxy A52s rated as mid-range devices. So the processor is expected to offer similar or higher performance on the upcoming Galaxy A73 devices, although the device may ditch the 3.5mm headphone port.
Additionally, the Snapdragon 778G SoC will come paired with 8GB of RAM. The company also plans to launch the majority of Samsung Galaxy phones in 2022 with Android 12 out of the box.

According to the FCC certification list, the Samsung Galaxy A73 (5G) will get a 25W fast charging capability. The listing also reveals that the device’s model number is SM-A736B, and it will be available with wireless connectivity options that include Wi-Fi 6, Near Field Communication (NFC) and an unspecified version of Bluetooth.
