Xiaomi brought the Mi Air 2 Pro back in October, but now the TWS earphones get a successor. The company has posted a teaser on its Weibo profile revealing a new case with the new Xiaomi logo on the hinge. The picture also tells us when the launch will take place – this Thursday the 13th of May. Meanwhile, a leak released an alleged picture of the actual buds which will have rubber pipe.

Xiaomi said the upcoming set will be the company’s flagship noise-canceling earphones without clarifying whether there will be active noise reduction – something we have yet to see from the manufacturer. However, it is certain that the tight sealing of the rubber tips improves the passive cancellation.
The design of the case is inspired by Xiaomi’s new round logo. All corners from previous designs have been polished to the point that they have no corners at all, and we hope the case retains its wireless charging features as well as inherits 500 mAh battery capacity from the Mi Air 2 Pro.
