Samsung Galaxy A22 4G and A22 5G renders and specs surface
The Samsung Galaxy A22 is reportedly due in June and it looks like it will come in two variants – 4G and 5G.
The two phones have virtually identical designs and four colors – white, black, purple and mint. Where they differ is found in the cameras, monitors, chipsets and biometrics.
The Galaxy A22 5G, seen below, will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with a 5G modem, has a 6.4-inch screen, giving the visible side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner likely an LCD.
There will be three cameras on the back of the Galaxy A22 5G – a 48MP head, a 5MP (probably ultra-wide) and a 2MP (possibly macro or just depth). The Galaxy A22 5G is slightly thicker and heavier than its 4G counterpart at 9mm and 205g compared to 8.5mm and 185g.

When we switch to the Galaxy A22 4G, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The screen is still a 6.4-inch, but is expected to be an AMOLED with a built-in optical fingerprint scanner (given the regular on / off button on the side of the phone).
In terms of camera, there is a 13MP selfie shooter and a quad camera on the back – 48MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP.
