Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 cameras detailed

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 will carry a similar range of cameras as its predecessor if the information from @FrontTron is to believe.

The biggest innovation here will be the use of an under-display camera for the folding screen – a 16MP Sony IMXx71 with 1μm pixels – which provides a hassle-free large screen experience.

There will be another selfie camera on the cover display – a 10MP Sony IMX374 with 1.22μm pixels – inside a hollow cutout.

The rest of the cameras are a trio of 12MP sensors – wide, ultra-wide and telephoto devices, the latter probably a 3x non-periscope.

The rest of the expected Galaxy Z Fold3 specifications include S Pen support but no S Pen holster in the body of the device, a Snapdragon 888 chipset, 4,400 mAh battery with 25 W charging and an IP rating for some degree of water and dust protection.

The screens are rumored to be a 6.2-inch outer screen and a 7.5-inch expandable inner screen – both 120Hz.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is expected to launch alongside the Z Flip3 in August.
