The purple dyes on the iPhone 12 and 12 mini go up on pre-order around the world, just like the long-awaited AirTags. The first devices of both smartphones and tags will be available during the week of April 30th.
It seems that Apple is coordinating the launch globally, the start is set for at. 12 UTC time, which is early in the morning for the US and Canada, in the afternoon for the UK and Europe or in the evening for Australia and New Zealand.
The purple iPhone 12/12 mini cost the same as the other four colors, namely USD 750/650, GBP 800/700, EUR 900/800, INR 70,000 / 53,000. Of course, if you have an old device to trade with, you can lower those prices.
For AirTags, these are $ 30 for one or $ 100 for a package of four. Although you may want to pick up a few accessories (the bare tags have no way of being attached to anything), which will bump the cost.
iPhone 12/12 mini cases and wallets are also getting new colors
Go over to apple.com to download a purple iPhone or AirTag. By the way, Apple also unveiled new cases for the iPhone 12/12 mini and a new MagSafe wallet, so you can still enjoy a fresh new color even if you already have a phone.
