A few days ago, the Xiaomi brand Redmi revealed that it sold over 25 million Note 8 units globally, and to celebrate the milestone, the Chinese phone maker announced that it will soon launch the Redmi Note 8 2021. While Redmi has not revealed the Note 8 2021’s release date yet, it took to Twitter to tease the smartphone’s design.

The poster, shared by Redmi, reveals that the Note 8 2021 will pack a drop of water, just like the original Note 8. It also confirms that the Note 8 2021 will come in blue, but there will likely be more options available.

In addition, the picture tells us that the Note 8 2021 has the SIM card slot on its left frame. We can not see the on / off key and the volume rocker here because they are located on the opposite side.

You can also see that the Note 8 2021’s chin has Redmi branding. However, the poster does not show us the back of the smartphone, and it remains to be seen if its backcover design resembles the original Note 8, or if Redmi has chosen a different look.
