Samsung released the Galaxy Watch 4 series back in August, which marked a return to the Google Wear OS platform after Samsung had used its Tizen platform for several years.
Now, the company is preparing to launch the Galaxy Watch 5 series in the latter half of this year. As the date approached, leaks about the details of the watch began to appear.
Leaked details about the Galaxy Watch 5 battery
According to leaked spec lists, it appears that the larger Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will have a higher capacity battery than the previous version.

The Galaxy Watch 5, model number EB-BR910ABY, is expected to use a 398mAh battery, which is an increase from the 361mAh battery found in the Galaxy Watch 5. Galaxy Watch 4 Current size is 44 mm.
According to the leak, the smaller Galaxy Watch 5, model number SM-R900, will get a 276 mAh rated battery, which is slightly larger than the 247 mAh 40mm Galaxy Watch 4.
It’s not yet clear if the larger battery will require a larger watch bezel, which could be annoying for anyone with a smaller wrist.

It is worth noting that the 42mm Galaxy Watch 4 and the 46mm Galaxy Watch 4 are powered by a 5nm Exynos W920 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a wide range of sensors to monitor health information.
The larger model is equipped with a 1.36-inch round screen and 361 mAh battery, while the smaller watch has a 1.19-inch screen and 247 mAh battery.
The watch’s features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, but Samsung also sells LTE models with the ability to connect to cellular networks.
