WhatsApp – WhatsApp introduces three important privacy features to its users
Mark Zuckerberg’s team announced three new privacy-focused updates to WhatsApp last month. These features include: exit groups silently, block screenshot in temporary messages, and hide online status. Some Android users have already started receiving these newer features. Reports indicate that WhatsApp beta versions “18.104.22.168” and “22.214.171.124” for Android will eventually provide the ability to hide your online status. The update will come globally, as with any other beta feature, although there is no deadline yet.
WhatsApp – WhatsApp brings an awesome backup feature soon.. Here are the details
How to hide your online status in WhatsApp
Reports have confirmed that if a new feature appears for the first time in the WhatsApp Beta program, it will likely not be in the stable version. The “hide online status” option is very important. As soon as the Meta releases the official announcement, our phones will finally get the update.
The beta version revealed how this new option aimed at enhancing privacy in the messaging app will work, as the options will remain the same as in the last seen section, now we have the option to select “everyone”, “my contacts, except” or “no one”.
But we’ll get a new “Who can see me when I’m online” option. You can choose between ‘everyone’ or ‘the same as last seen’. For now, we have to wait for the new Whatsapp update. As well as others who own WhatsApp Business.
