Samsung Galaxy A22 5G gets priced in Europe
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has still not become official, but it certainly can not last long now. The phone’s name suggests that this will be Samsung’s cheapest 5G handset yet, and today a supposed EU dealer list has largely confirmed the unsurprising fact.
The phone is stated at € 185 without VAT, which strongly implies a final price including tax, approx. € 229, depending on the country (as VAT is different in each one). Maybe in some nations we can even see it go lower, but it is very unlikely that the price will be below € 199.
Still, it will actually make this the cheapest 5G Samsung ever to launch in the EU, if not too much – the Galaxy A32 5G is currently available for € 238 at the moment (although it was launched for € 279).
The Galaxy A22 5G is expected to have the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset at the helm, 64GB of basic storage, a 6.4-inch FHD + LCD touch screen, a triple rear camera system (48 MP head + 5 MP macro + 2 MP depth) and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging support.
