Speaking of Prime Day, last year’s edition was delayed until October due to the pandemic. The 2021 edition moves back to an earlier timeline. By a press call (via CNET) CFO Brian Olsavsky confirmed that Amazon Prime Day 2021 will take place in June.
The exact date has not been officially revealed, although Olsavsky mentions the following: “We have to do it on a date where we think it will get more attention for our customers and also for our suppliers.”
Separately, Bloomberg reports that Amazon has chosen June 21-22 as the dates for Prime Day 2021. It is according to official records that it has reviewed and a person familiar with the matter.
