New Samsung TV ad leaks Under Panel Camera (UPC) for the Galaxy Z Fold 3
New TV ad for Samsung may include a look at the Galaxy Z Fold 3
The second ad compares photos of a grilled cheese sandwich taken from the same two handsets. Samsung says that Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G provided more details about the bread in its image. As we noted last Sunday, Samsung has apparently moved away from the heavy-in-the-cheek spots that characterized its early Galaxy vs. iPhone commercials.
Superimposed on the video as a subliminal message are comments about openness that are supposed to drum into your head the idea that Android-powered Galaxy devices are open. Compare that to the words that have been thrown around recently (mostly in court) to describe iOS: anti-competitive, monopoly.
Samsung’s latest TV ad for its Galaxy devices looks set to take a shot at Apple’s walled garden
Galaxy Z Fold 3 reportedly has 256 GB of storage space and has Android 11 pre-installed along with One UI 3.5. This is the interface that moves most of the tapable elements closer to the bottom of the screen so that users do not have to perform calisthenics with their finger to reach an icon or link. The handset will support the S Pen and will even have a slot for the digital writing instrument.
We are all born with a beautiful bias towards openness
Open to all
Open to everything
Open with anything
Galaxy was created to be as open as we are
To enable impossible innovations
To connect devices, brands and people without restrictions
Open to everyone, exclusive to no one
So everyone can push forward equally
Because the fewer borders the world has
the farther we can all go
Life opens up with the Galaxy. “
