The Galaxy Watch 4 launched last August with Wear OS 3, but it did not come with Google Assistant. Neither Samsung nor Google have given a specific time frame for when this will happen, but a new report has revealed that the update will arrive soon.

New details about the Galaxy Watch 4

The word came about Galaxy Watch 4 by Patrick Chomet who said that the Google Assistant on the Galaxy Watch4 will have “faster and more natural voice interactions, allowing for quick answers”.

He also revealed that Samsung will offer “enhanced functionality” to its third-party partners, which means, for Spotify users, songs can be changed using Google Assistant using only their voice.

The executive vice president also spoke about improving Google apps and services for the Galaxy Watch later this year to deliver “the most comprehensive and seamless wearable experience with Android smartphones.”

However, it is currently unknown when the Google Assistant app will start arriving on the Galaxy Watch4, as reports indicate that this update will arrive in the summer.

And recently, a new report revealed that the Google Assistant will get a new feature, where it will be enough to look at the screen and talk to the Google Assistant to start listening to your commands, which creates a more natural interaction between the human user and the virtual assistant where this feature is known as “Look and Talk.”

Once you sign up for the feature, you can simply look at the screen and ask for what you want. “From the beginning, we built Look and Talk with your privacy in mind,” the company said.
