A new report revealed the test results of the Xiaomi 12 phone, which revealed disappointing results with regard to the phone’s battery.

After the screen, camera and audio system tests, the specialists of the DxOMark laboratory examined the autonomy of the Xiaomi 12 – despite the fast charging and battery life of about two days, the device took only 53rd place in the overall ranking.

DxOMark tested the phone’s battery with a capacity of 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, where experts noted the high charging speed, but there were some problems that the device was experiencing.
On the plus side, the smartphone can be charged up to 80% using wired charging in just 27 minutes 21 seconds, wireless charging is called “excellent” and it charges up to 80% in 34 minutes 55 seconds.
Despite these advantages, the Xiaomi 12 has some problems: with intense use, the device lasts 29 hours, with moderate use – up to 45 hours, and in terms of autonomy, Xiaomi 12 surpassed, for example, the Samsung Galaxy S22 but did not surpass the realme GT 2 Pro.

Among the minuses, the tester noted problems with music, video, calls and games, poor performance when using GPS, high discharge when playing music, and high power consumption when the gadget is fully charged and still on wireless charging.
As a result, the phone’s battery ranked 53rd in the global DxOMark ranking and 14th among the premium devices.
