Apple TV 4K official price and specifications
The new Apple TV 4K doubles its performance, it delivers fast processing power and incredibly stunning resolution images, although it’s not a major update, this new 2022 model will have an A15 processor (as found in the iPhone 14 and iPhone). 14 Plus) plus support for HDR10+ in addition to existing Dolby Vision technology.
Apple TV 4K Specifications
Appear device Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) Exactly the same as the previous model, although about 25% smaller, with the new model measuring 93 x 93 x 31 mm (3.66 x 3.66 x 1.2 in) compared to the previous model which was 98 x 98 x 35 mm (3.9 x 3.9 in) x 1.4 inches).
This is achieved thanks to the massive A15 chip that does not require a cooling fan, this also means that it uses 30% less energy so it is definitely better for electricity bills than previous generations.
The third generation model will come in two distinct versions; The larger 128GB storage version features thread network support for compatible home accessories, Gigabit Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 6.
However, the smaller 64GB model does not have an Ethernet port, and instead relies on WiFi 6 connections only. A slight change has been made to the Siri remote as well, the lightning port for charging and the new USB-C port.
TV OS 16 will offer a cleaner interface design, including a more compact on-screen Siri interface and Homekit control. We still hope Apple’s continuous camera system that allows you to use your iPhone as an external webcam for your Mac will make its way to the Apple TV.
Providing a custom method for FaceTime on Apple TV is one thing we still feel is missing. Currently, you can use SharePlay to watch movies together on FaceTime using Apple TV.
