Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has a 90Hz screen, an IPS LCD panel, the dimensions of which are not entirely certain – we have heard 6.4 “before, but this latest rumor claims a larger 6.6” diagonal. This may be the case when the 4G and 5G versions are mixed together (they differ by more than just the screen).
What’s more interesting is that the rumor suggests a 1080p + resolution for the screen, and the Google Play Console agrees. This is unexpected as the Galaxy A32 5G has a basic 720p + 60Hz screen.

What makes it strange is that the A22 5G will cost less – it will start at around € 230, which is a good price less than the A32 5G MSRP of € 280. will be the cheaper device.
Side view Galaxy A22 5G is expected to have a Dimensity 700 chipset. It is a 7 nm chip with two Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2 GHz, compared to the two A76 @ 2.0 GHz cores in Dimensity 720 (the chip inside the A32 5G). The GPU is cut down, but both chips support 1080p + 90Hz displays. The chipset is paired with 4/6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage (there must also be a microSD connector).
The A22 5G will reportedly be equipped with a 48MP main, 5MP ultra-wide and 13MP selfie camera. The chipset is limited to 1080p 30 fps video recording, though unconfirmed info claims 4K recording (A32 5G does 4K, but the 720 chipset has official support).

As we mentioned, there will be an LTE version, Galaxy A22 4G, which uses Helio G80 instead. Both models must have 5,000 mAh batteries with 15W fast charging. There is also a Galaxy F22 on the way, which will be based on the A22 5G.
In addition to the 4G / 5G connection, the phones have Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC (with Samsung Pay), a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack (with Dolby Atmos). The renderings show a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Not a bad package for the price.
Galaxy A22 5G colorways
The Samsung Galaxy A22 4G and 5G are expected to be unveiled later this month. Based on reproductions we have seen, they come in four colors – black and white shown above, but also lavender and mint.
