Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200 MP camera brings better night photography and video, tipster says
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra is rumored to have a 200MP camera. So what can you ask, the much cheaper Xiaomi 12T Pro also has one of them. Right? Well, yes it does, but apparently Samsung’s 200MP camera won’t be the same. Instead, it will be the best 200MP camera the world has ever seen, at least until launch of course.
This revelation comes from prolific tipster Ice Universe, who says the camera has unmatched computing capabilities. These will enable it to bring obvious, remarkable improvements to night photos as well as night videos.
It’s so good, in fact, that it will represent the biggest leap in a Samsung flagship camera in five years. Those are definitely strong words right there, and of course it remains to be seen whether the S23 Ultra can really deliver what is rumored here. But if it does, it has the potential to be the most exciting Samsung flagship device for some time.
According to previous rumors, the S23 Ultra will borrow a lot from its predecessor, the S22 Ultra, in terms of appearance. The battery capacity also remains the same at 5,000 mAh. The chipset used, at least in some markets, will unsurprisingly be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is expected to go official next month.
