Samsung is preparing to launch the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series of phones in February. But before the official announcement, many leaks revealed to us the specifications and features of the phones. Now, a new leak has surfaced confirming the validity of a previous rumor about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Confirmation of a leaked feature on the Galaxy S23 Ultra
Popular leaker Ice Universe posted a tweet via TwitterJust one photo, a screenshot from the default Samsung Camera app on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
According to the screenshot, we can see two options that are presented to the user in the One UI interface. The two options include a dedicated 200MP shooting mode and a 50MP shooting option.
If these leaks are true, this screenshot confirms two advantages. Firstly, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP main camera, and secondly, this camera will also capture pixel binning technology for a 50MP shooting mode that combines four pixels into one.

The same leaker had previously mentioned that the company will be releasing the Galaxy S23 Ulta with a 200MP sensor with a size of 0.6μm on a 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/1.7 aperture.

The company will reportedly use the new 200MP ISOCELL HPX sensor for the Galaxy S23 Ultra and will include new technologies such as Advanced Deep Isolation (DTI) to improve the sensor’s light absorption and Tetra2Pixel, which allows the camera to combine 4 or 16 pixels as one to improve low-light photography. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are said to feature a 108MP camera.
