Xiaomi like Samsung and other phone manufacturers display ads in their user interface which enables them to increase their profits and thus lower the price of their products, but this may change soon.
It’s been many years since Xiaomi started including ads in its custom MIUI interface, and we can see them in a few apps like Mi Browser and Mi Video, but they don’t seem to affect all users. In fact, some markets like India seem to be the most affected by ads and they’re especially visible on low-cost devices.
Of course, all this unwanted content may be disabled, but this option is unknown to many users. Xiaomi has made an effort to simplify this process in the MIUI 13 interface, but this policy will undergo a major tweak soon. According to a report, the MIUI 14 interface may exclude the display of ads on the phones of the Chinese company.

MIUI 14 will focus on getting rid of bloatware and pre-installed apps. Xiaomi has already put in a lot of work in this regard in MIUI 13. The company has marked the launch of its Xiaomi phone 12 in China with fewer pre-installed apps than iPhones or even Samsung phones. There were only 7 apps including Gallery, Camera, and Phone.
In addition to these two important modifications, MIUI 14 will have many improvements such as updates to the clock, the weather app, and the calendar. In addition to placing a huge folder to simplify the interaction between a mobile device and a desktop screen.
