Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus get new certification with important details ahead of launch

The Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus have been spotted on the FCC website, with the latest listing on the FCC revealing some key details including the battery capacity of the upcoming Samsung phones.

According to the leaks, the Galaxy S23, which has the model number SM-S911B, will come with a 3,900mAh battery. The Galaxy S23+, which has model number SM-S916B, will have a 4,700mAh battery. This is confirmed by the recently published leaks.

The leaks revealed some other specifications that indicate that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will work for both phones, and the Galaxy S23 will feature a 6.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz. While the Galaxy S23+ will come with a 6.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Both phones will also have a 32MP selfie camera, a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and possibly fixed focus again, and a 10MP telephoto unit with up to 3x optical stabilization.

Reports have confirmed that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ along with its new flagship phone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, at its first Unpacked event of 2023 in February.
