NVIDIA today revealed launch details for a reimagining of Valve’s iconic Portal with RTX, widely considered one of the best video games of all time, with advanced graphics features like full ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS 3, and more, to give the game a makeover. And a stunning new look.

Designed by NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios, Portal With RTX will be made available as free, official downloadable content (DLC) to existing owners of the game on December 8, 2022, just in time for the holidays.

Portal with RTX embodies the incredible overclocking power of the new GeForce RTX 40 Series cards, and the capabilities of our NVIDIA RTX Remix modding system.
Every frame of the game has been upgraded with stunning full ray tracing, new handcrafted and physical-based HD textures, and new and improved models.
To achieve the stunning new look, Portal with RTX uses a suite of demanding graphics technologies that are accelerated by NVIDIA DLSS technology. DLSS 3 allows GeForce RTX 40 series users to get a performance increase of over 2.8 times, making the game incredibly smooth and responsive compared to the original offering, while 30GeForce RTX series GPU users will benefit from DLSS 2, making the game playable .
