Samsung is preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of flagship phones soon. Rumors indicated that the launch would happen in early February. Where the series will consist of three phones, the Galaxy S23 – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus – Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra – Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus recently appeared on the FCC with some key specs about the hardware.

Galaxy S23 Ultra appears on FCC

The Galaxy S23 Ultra has now appeared in the FCC database with key details about the upcoming flagship. The listing revealed details about the SM-S918B / DS model number, which we now know to be the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

According to the latest listing on the FCC, the next-gen Samsung Galaxy will come with a 4,855mAh battery with model number EB-BS918BY. The FCC listing also shows support for 25W fast charging. But given that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra supports 45W fast charging, it is expected that the upcoming Ultra model will also support 45W fast charging.

The FCC listing also reveals that the flagship will support the S-Pen similarly to its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Samsung has expanded S-Pen compatibility for the Ultra versions with the S21 series. And the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra was devoid of the S-pen slot. And Samsung managed to fit the S-Pen inside the slot on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The S23 Ultra is also expected to include an S-Pen slot. The list also indicated that the phone will support wireless charging in addition to reverse wireless charging.
