Reports have confirmed that a new phone from Xiaomi, called the Redmi 12C, is currently under development. The company has not revealed any details about the phone now but it is expected to be announced soon.
Redmi 12C appears in initial leaks
We know very well that smartphones receive various certifications before they are released to the public. This is the latest certification received by Xiaomi from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). And it was shared on the official FCC website as well.
Redmi 12C on IMEI database
Reportedly, no information about the new phone has been revealed to be released. The Redmi 12C appears on the IMEI database with model number 2212ARNC4L. However, it is expected that Xiaomi will change this market name (Redmi 12C) to something else, as it did previously when it changed “Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023” to “Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G” before launch.

Notably, Redmi 9C and Redmi 10C were also introduced. Both are entry-level phones. It is expected that Redmi 11C will be presented, but all expectations indicate that the next phone will be called Redmi 12C.
