We are still two months away from the launch of the “Samsung Galaxy S23” series of phones. However, the specifications of the upcoming flagship phone from Samsung were revealed as the device recently received TENAA certification. This certification reveals details about the phone’s screen, processor, cameras and battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra specifications

According to TENAA certification documents, the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, model number (SM-G9180), is 6.8 inches, with a resolution of (3088 x 1440 pixels) and QHD + display quality. The device is also equipped with 4G LTE and 5G connectivity.

The octa-core processor has three groups of CPUs, with one group running at 3.36GHz, and the other two running at 2.8GHz and 2GHz, respectively. It is like the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (AC version) with higher clock speed than Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (AB version).

The phone contains 8 GB / 12 GB of random access memory (RAM) and 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB storage space.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has four rear cameras: a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.

However, many sources claim that the phone has 12MP telephoto cameras, likely because Samsung is upgrading photos from 10MP sensors to 12MP.

The document also reveals that Samsung’s upcoming high-end phone will be equipped with Bluetooth, USB, gyrosensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, under-display fingerprint sensor, and facial recognition.

It measures 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9mm and weighs 233g. It also features a 4,855mAh battery, which will be marketed as a 5,000mAh battery.

In your opinion, what is the most important feature that should be available in this phone?
