The SmartThings app from Samsung has received a completely redesigned user interface with the latest update. Made with customer feedback in mind, the latest version provides a lighter look more in line with the Windows version of the app. The new update is already being pushed on Android phones, while the iOS update is coming later.

The large new redesign has five sections of controls instead of the previously seen spaces assigned to units. There is a section of favorites with quick access to the most used devices and their assigned scenes. The Devices tab shows all your linked smart gadgets. Life adds a touch of additional SmartThings services such as SmartThings Find, SmartThings Cooking and HomeCare Wizard.
