The new system gets a multitasking feature that brings great ease to iPad users, in addition to the Stage Manager feature that Apple announced for macOS Ventura is also coming to iPadOS 16, as this means that applications can be displayed as windows that can interfere with each other.
iPadOS 16 can allow up to eight apps to be displayed on the screen simultaneously, and can also take advantage of the screen feature optimized for an external display.
The company focused in the system on sharing between applications, where you can start collaborating directly from the sharing sheet in Office applications such as Pages, allowing other users to begin making and start making edits to a central document.
Similar to what Google has been offering in services like Docs and Sheets for years, Apple is also building collaboration features in Safari and offering an API for developers to add similar functionality to their own apps.
