A new report stated that Apple is preparing to start mass production of the Apple M2 Pro processor, as it announced during the developer conference a few days ago its new Apple M2 processor and it appears that it is working on a more powerful version of the processor.
Apple M2 Pro processor details
According to report The new Apple M2 Pro processor will be built with a 3 nanometer architecture instead of the 5 nanometer architecture used in the vanilla M2 and M1 Pro, as this will reduce the power consumed by the processor in addition to an increase in performance.
In addition, the report mentioned that the processor has four efficiency cores and eight performance cores, unlike the M1 Pro, which comes with two less efficient cores.
Regarding the production date, the report also indicated that the Apple M2 Pro processor will enter mass production at the end of this year, specifically in the period from October to December.

It is worth noting that the Apple M2 processor is built on the second generation 5nm architecture, and compared to the M1, the eight-core CPU provides 18% better performance.
“Compared to the 12-core Intel Core i7-1260P processor in the MSI Prestige 14Evo, the M2 “provides nearly 90% of peak performance” while using only a quarter of the power,” the company said.
The chipset contains more than 20 billion transistors (25% more than the M1), and supports 6K external displays, as well as ProRes encoding and decoding, 8K H.264, and HEVC video.
