Motorola Moto G72 in for review
Say hello to the Moto G72 – a capable mid-range phone with content consumption in mind. It comes with a USB cable, a protective case and a 33W charger, although in some markets you also get headphones.
They would end up with the good old 3.5mm jack, as the Moto G72 has a built-in audio jack. And it also usefully supports Dolby Atmos. The stereo speakers on board the Moto G72 are also Dolby Atmos ready.
Continuing the thread of content consumption, the Moto G72 also has a great display – a 6.55-inch OLED with 1080p resolution and HDR10+ support. It is also smooth at 120Hz.
Moving further down the spec sheet, the Moto G72 has a generous 5,000mAh battery that should last quite a bit – although we’ll have to confirm that in our review.
Finally, the Moto G72 packs a 108MP main camera that pixel-bins 9-to-1 for resulting 12MP snaps. Next to it is an ultrawide and a macro. A MediaTek Helio G99 handles the processing of the images as well as the rest of the computing tasks.
Those are impressive specs for a €280 phone, but is the real-world performance good enough. Keep an eye out for our full review coming just after the New Year!
