Galaxy graphics processor defeats Apple’s graphics processor! The details will astound you
Samsung surprised everyone with the superiority of the Galaxy S23 Ultra graphics processor over the iPhone graphics processor, and recently, leaks have increased about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 series, and a leaked presentation of the Galaxy S23 case and Galaxy S23 Ultra specifications appeared before the launch scheduled for February 1, until Samsung blew its strongest surprises with the superiority of the processor. Graphics Galaxy Adreno type, here are the details ..
Galaxy graphics processor defeats Apple’s graphics processor
It was known that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The 8th generation clock speed will be 3.36 GHz for the main core, 2.80 GHz for performance cores, and 2.02 GHz for efficiency cores.
Samsung Foundry will manufacture an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with an Adreno 740 GPU, which is also overclocked as the CPU.
The Adreno 740 GPU is now more powerful than the Apple A16 Bionic GPU, so how? The answer is via platform GeekBench :
As the GeekBench benchmark reveals, the Galaxy S23 Ultra with Adreno 740 graphics processor scores 10,744 points on Vulkan, and has an average score of 9,844 in the benchmark test.

On the other hand, with regard to the previous version, the Galaxy S22 Ultra for last year, it came with a score of 6233 with the Adreno 730 graphics processor, as the latest Adreno graphics processor has great capabilities over its predecessor, and it also features a performance improvement of 57.93% compared to Adreno 730.
It also offers 56.85% better performance than the Galaxy S22 Ultra. TSMC uses a 4nm process to manufacture the Adreno 740 GPU. Although Samsung will make the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, it will source the GPU from its competing foundry. It seems to be a better decision as the Adreno 730 is manufactured by Samsung using a 4nm process.
