Top 10 most popular reviews of 2022: Q4

So here we are – after summarizing the most popular reviews from the first three quarters, it’s time to focus on the last three months of the outgoing year. It’s just one of the ways we can take a look back and evaluate the current state of the mobile market and its most important aspect – what you, the readers, like.

We’ll start with Google’s latest and greatest Pixel 7 phones. After the Pixel 6a made a real splash in the 3rd quarter, the new Pixels dropped completely at the beginning of the 4th. quarter and attracted many eyes. They bring a pure AOSP experience garnished with some exclusive software features and a great computing experience. A killer combo for many.

Xiaomi decided to update its flagship range with the 12T and 12T Pro at the beginning of October. Both are well positioned and competitive devices with similar specs, although Xiaomi went with Qualcomm for the Pro and MediaTek for the vanilla. Both phones understandably proved quite popular in our Q4 review section.

Realme spread a few device announcements in early November. Out of the new Realme 10 generation, you guys seemed to like the Realme 10 Pro+ model the most, and we can definitely see why. With a very competitive price, the Pro+ brings things like stereo speakers, a large HDR10+ 120Hz 10-bit curved OLED panel, a capable Dimensity 1080 chipset and great battery life to the table. The vanilla Realme 10 also made the top ten with its 90Hz OLED panel and 50MP main camera.

Huawei dropped its latest Mate 50 flagship lineup in early September, but it took some time for the lone member of the series to escape China. We had to review the Mate 50 Pro, and you guys found it pretty interesting too.

Speaking of slightly delayed devices, the iPhone 14 Plus launched sales a little later than its siblings, which is why we see it on the top ten list for Q4 reviews rather than Q3 along with the rest of the lineup.

Foldable devices tend to do well in our review section, and the Motorola Razr 2022 is no exception. It’s a phone that pushed hinge design to a new level and delivered well in other areas, though not necessarily price-wise.

And last but certainly not least, the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro made it to the top ten. Although not a brand you see too often on our site due to its limited western presence, Tecno is huge and easily in the top 10 globally. The Phantom X2 Pro represents a bold step into flagship territory for the company. One complete with a unique pop-out portrait telephoto camera on the back.
