Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is receiving Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in the US
The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update that was released to the international Galaxy Z Fold2 two months ago and the unlocked units in the US last month is now rolling out to the carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold2 in the US.
The update is seen for Galaxy Z Fold2 devices locked to T-Mobile and Sprint’s networks in the US, and the rollout may soon expand to devices on other carriers.
If you own a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 locked to T-Mobile or Sprint’s network, you will receive One UI 5.0 with firmware version F916USQU2IVK5. It comes with the usual One UI 5.0 goodies and the November 2022 Android security patch.
If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to your Galaxy Z Fold2 Settings > Software update menu.
