Samsung is seeing a new firmware update for its Galaxy Watch4, which brings camera zoom controls, a new device diagnostics tool, and other stability fixes. The update carries R860XXU1GWA3 build number and is just under 330MB in size.

The big new feature is the zoom button in the Camera Controller app on the watch. The feature only works with supported flagship Samsung smartphones starting from the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip or later. There are two options for controlling zoom levels – via the rotating bezel or through pinch to zoom on the smartwatch touchscreen.
The other new bit from the update is the Device Diagnostics tool, which lets you check your watch’s battery status and touchscreen functionality via your connected phone.
