Apple is constantly adding interesting features to its devices, to increase security in its system, and among these features is the Find My iPhone feature, which some users may need to cancel, and this is what we will review in this article.
How to disable Find My iPhone
This feature is useful as it allows you to track your device when it is lost or even stolen however you may want to opt out of Find My iPhone.

The second method is to open Settings and tap on your Apple ID (iCloud account) which is usually at the top of the Settings menu. Next, tap on Find My iPhone, and toggle on Find My iPhone Off, it will require your Apple ID password. And then you will disable Find My iPhone successfully.
It’s worth noting that it’s also possible to remove Find My iPhone remotely, as you’ll need to sign in to the app on your iPhone or iPad with your Apple ID, and sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- Once in Control Panel, click on All Devices at the top of the screen.
- Select your device, and you will see its name.
- Click on the “X” that appears next to your device
- The word “Remove” will appear on a new screen.
- Click Remove.
