Kuo: Apple will release an OLED MacBook by the end of 2024
Apple’s first OLED MacBook will arrive at the end of 2024. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to ship the OLED MacBook in the later stages of next year, so don’t hold your breath for one sooner.
Kuo says OLED will offer a few advantages over the mini-LED Apple currently uses in the MacBook Pro 14 and 16, and the iPad Pro 12. It will allow for thinner and lighter devices with more diverse form factors. On a side note, OLED also allows for folding devices.
It is expected that with Apple’s adoption, growth in OLED notebook shipments will continue to increase in the coming years.

Kuo isn’t saying which MacBook will be the first to adopt OLED, but industry insider Ross Young has said that Apple will announce a 13-inch OLED MacBook Air in 2024.
