Xiaomi unveiled the Civi 2 back in September as a selfie-centric smartphone. It has two front-facing cameras and two dual LED flashes embedded in the top bezel and comes in four great colors.
Today, the company unveiled a new version – the Hello Kitty Special Limited Edition. It is already up for pre-order on the Xiaomi China website, but unfortunately it will remain exclusive to the domestic scene.
The Xiaomi Civi 2 is the same on the inside – a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are three cameras on the back, the main one with a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor. The focus is still the dual cameras at the front – both with 32 MP sensors, one with AF, the other with a 100-degree FoV.
The smartphone will go on sale on February 9 on Xiaomi’s website. The price is CNY2,799 ($410), which was the original price of the basic 12/256GB versions, which is now slightly discounted to CNY2,699 (just under $400).
