Nearly a month after its debut in China, Xiaomi brought the Smart Band 7 version of its popular Band series to the global market.
The new model brings the largest screen to date to a 1.62-inch Xiaomi Smart Band. The AMOLED panel has a resolution of 490x192px and now supports Always-on Display (AOD), which was not available on its predecessor. Another smart new feature is the automatic SpO2 tracking, which notifies you if your blood oxygen level drops below 90%.
Smart Band 7 retains the 14-day nominal battery life and charges via the same two-pin magnetic charger. Mi Band 7 comes with over 100 dials and 110+ sport modes with automatic registration. On the health tracking page, you get 24/7 heart rate measurements as well as sleep and stress tracking alongside female health tracking. The smart strap is 5ATM waterproof and can track your swims effortlessly.
The NFC version of Smart Band 7 remains exclusive to China for the time being, although rumors suggest that it will eventually find its way to global markets later in partnership with Mastercard. Xiaomi also revealed that it sold over 1 million Smart Band 7 devices in China, which is a new record.
Xiaomi Band 7 comes in a variety of color options with black, blue, ivory, orange, olive and pink solid color silicone straps as well as several camouflage and neon options.
The retail trade is set at € 59.99, although a special early bird offer brings the price down to € 49.99. Buyers in Western Europe can already place their orders, while buyers in other regions have to wait a little longer.
