Launched in 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3.1, Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is receiving the stable One UI 5.1 update based on Android 13.
The update has firmware version M426BXXU4DWB1 and requires a download of around 1GB. It comes with the usual One UI 5.1 goodies and the February 2023 Android security patch.
The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M42 5G is currently seen in India, but the rollout should be extended to other countries soon. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually by going to your phone Settings > Software update menu.
