Official Samsung Galaxy A54 case shows up online prior to device launch

There is little left in the way of mystery surrounding the Galaxy A54. A few days ago, the phone was featured in yet another massive leak complete with specifications and detailed renders. And as far as we know, we won’t even have to wait that long for it to be official either, with a claimed announcement date of March 15 alongside the Galaxy A34.

Meanwhile, Samsung Madecodia apparently decided to jump on the leak train, revealing an official case for the Galaxy A54. It’s called the “Smart View Wallet Case,” and as the name suggests, it’s a wallet-style case with room for a card on the inside and a window to reveal part of the phone’s display.

The accessory itself doesn’t look particularly special by any means, but we do appreciate all the apparent pastel colors it will be available in. Plus, if there was any doubt left about the design of the Galaxy A54, it can be officially dismissed now. The A54, as renders have already suggested, really looks like the Galaxy S23 series of phones with separate cameras on the back, two flat pieces of glass and a metallic-like rounded bezel sandwiched between.

We can also see the volume buttons and the power button in their default location on the right side of the phone. And one of the renders even conveniently shows the underside of the device with a speaker, microphone and USB Type-C port. No 3.5mm jack, as expected.

As far as we currently know, the Galaxy A54 will offer IP67 ingress protection and stereo speakers. It will also have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The A54 will likely rock an Exynos 1380 chipset along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage. We also expect a 50MP main camera, OIS-enabled camera, 12MP ultrawide, 5MP macro and a 32MP selfie camera. Last but not least, a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging.
