Some rumors from the last few months suggest that Xiaomi’s gaming arm, Black Shark, is struggling with employees and is struggling to produce products. However, reports of the supposed upcoming Black Shark 6 haven’t slowed down. In fact, most of the specifications were leaked at the end of February.
The latest leak comes from a used Chinese marketplace called Youxianyu as someone is selling an early prototype of what appears to be the Black Shark 6. The price is CNY 3,900 ($560), but that’s apparently not the final price of the phone.
The prototype shows an all-new camera island design, and it’s likely to come with a leather back version as well. The listing also mentions a 12GB/512GB memory configuration, dated 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera and support for 120W fast wired charging. Earlier reports also point to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 5,000mAh battery.
