Xiaomi launched its first collapsible smartphone in March, and now doctors are claiming that the company is already working on a follow-up. According to a source, the new device will stick to a Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery and a 108MP camera, but will bring an improved hinge.
Current Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold
The entire internal structure of the next Mi Mix Fold has already been tested. The folding itself has an inward hinge and has two screens – one large on the inside, built by Samsung and comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a smaller one on the outside with 90Hz, manufactured by Visionox.
There are many unknowns about the future Mi Mix Fold smartphone like the cameras, the memory settings and the MIUI version. More importantly, will the new phone escape China, or will it remain tied to the domestic scene like the current Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold?
