All iPhone 15 units will have a Dynamic Island, Pros will have titanium frame

The latest iPhone 15 leak gives us insight into their displays. A trio of leaked glass panels reveal that the entire iPhone 15 series will have a Dynamic Island. The three pieces below are reportedly from the iPhone 15 on the left, the iPhone 15 Pro in the middle, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max on the right.

Rumor has it that the entire series will have thinner uniform 1.5mm bezels across the entire screen.

While the vanilla 15 and 15 Plus get the new Dynamic Island, they retain the standard 60Hz refresh rate and miss the Always-on Display on the Pro models. Another differentiator will be the chipset, as the Pro models will be bumped to the A17 Bionic last year, while the regular models will get 2022’s A16 Bionic.

The second leak shows us CAD renderings of the iPhone 15 Pro. The new Pro models will feature titanium frames instead of stainless steel, which would make them more durable, but more importantly, lighter. The other key feature is the transition to solid-state buttons. They’ll have 3D Touch haptic feedback, thanks to multiple Taptic Engines underneath, to indicate successful taps.

Even the mute switch becomes a button – press once for Mute and once more to unmute.

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus retain their regular buttons.
