The Redmi Note 12 series opens the European chapter of its global journey today, and we have the Redmi Note 12 Pro in the office, so let’s do an unboxing.

This is a well-stocked phone. It has a case, a 67W charger and a USB cable. With the included 67W charger, Xiaomi promises to go from 0% to 50% in just 15 minutes and up to 100% in 46 minutes. We will give these figures a test in our review.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro starts from €399 (INR24,999 when it launched in India back in January) and you get a nicely rounded device for that money. Up front, it has a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP f/1.9 primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera has a 16 MP sensor.

The 5,000 mAh battery had to keep up quite a bit with the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. You get 6GB, 8GB and even 12GB RAM options.

Compared to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, you would be missing a primary camera with a higher resolution of 200MP and faster 120W charging.
