Samsung Galaxy F14 goes official with Exynos 1330 and 6000 mAh battery
The Samsung Galaxy F14 debuted in India today, joining the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy M14 in a trio of very closely related phones. Like the other two, the Galaxy F14 is built around a 6.6” 90Hz PLS LCD with FullHD+ resolution and a 5nm Exynos 1330 chipset with 5G support. You get Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the Galaxy F14, whereas the glass type on the M and A siblings is unconfirmed.
Inside the Galaxy F14 is a 6,000mAh battery, which matches the Galaxy M14 but is larger than the Galaxy A14’s 5,000mAh unit. The F14’s maximum charging speed of 25W is higher than the 15W offered by both of its counterparts.
The other notable difference is on the back, where the Samsung Galaxy F14 has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP macro sensor, whereas the other two also have a 2MP depth sensor. However, we are highly skeptical that anyone will miss that depth sensor. A waterdrop notch on the front houses a 13 MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy F14 runs Android 13 with OneUI Core 5.1 on top, which is the slightly trimmed version of Samsung’s interface. The phone gets a promise of two major Android updates and four years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy F14 comes in OMG Black, GOAT Green and BAE Purple. The sale starts at noon on March 30 through Samsung’s own website, Flipkart and various retail partners. The price will be INR 12,990 for the 4+128GB version and INR 14,490 for the 6+128GB variant.
