The 12C sports a 6.71″ HD+ LCD and packs a 5,000mAh battery that draws power through a microUSB port. The smartphone has three cameras – a 5MP selfie shooter on the front, with a 50MP primary camera on the back that’s connected to a depth unit.
The rest of the Redmi 12C’s highlights include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC (market dependent) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Redmi 12C has four color options and the event page posted by Xiaomi on its official Indian website confirms that all four will be launched in India.
