Here’s the iPhone 15 Pro in newly leaked high quality renders
Back in February, we saw the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro in some rough CAD-based renders, and then again in its rumored ‘hero color’, a deep red. Today, the same source of the earlier renderings is back with many more, and these are much more polished and, dare we say it, high quality. So here’s our best look yet at Apple’s next high-end smartphone, launching (probably) in September.
The iPhone 15 Pro will have a titanium frame with a more rounded-edge design, hopefully allaying user concerns about the current models and their sharp edges.
The size of the individual camera protrusions will grow once again, and the overall bump is thicker. Interestingly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max also has a smaller camera bump, which has been rumored to house a periscope zoom lens. According to previous rumors, the cameras in the iPhone 15 Pro will have “a completely new sensor technology that will capture more light and reduce over- or under-exposure in certain settings”.
All iPhone 15 models will have USB-C ports, but the fastest charging will be limited to USB-C cables certified by Apple.
The volume and mute buttons will be haptic, not real, and they will have two haptic motors dedicated to emulating a button press. The mute switch will be a haptic button, not a sliding switch anymore.
The iPhone 15 Pro’s bezels measure just 1.55mm across on all sides, and the display glass will have a subtle curvature that blends seamlessly into the titanium frame in the same way as the back glass.
The thinner bezels will make the iPhone 15 Pro slightly narrower than its predecessor, as the screen size remains the same. The new model will measure 146.47 x 70.46 x 8.24 mm, compared to 147.46 x 71.45 x 7.84 mm for the iPhone 14 Pro.
Alongside the ‘hero’ deep red colour, the phone is said to be offered in white, space black and gold.
