After a few major leaks and a brief teaser campaign, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is finally official. The phone brings a 120Hz OLED screen, a 108MP main camera and a really aggressive price.
12 Lite is a successor to the 11 Lite 5G NE and has inherited the 6.55 ”AMOLED screen with HDR10 + and Dolby Vision support. The told can be seen apart by looking at the hole as the new device has it in the middle. The new panel adds support for 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The Snapdragon 778G chipset, built on the 6nm process, is unchanged and is again paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
Around the back, the Xiaomi 12 Lite has a 108 MP main shooter with a Samsung HM2 sensor and f / 1.9 aperture. Next to it is an 8 MP f / 2.4 ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro snapper.
The selfie camera comes with a 32 MP Samsung GD2 sensor and f / 2.5 aperture lens. It features AF and lots of software features including Selfie portrait mode and Xiaomi Selfie Glow.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite carries a 4,300 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, and the adapter is in the box, just like any other internationally available Xiaomi 12 smartphone. The smartphone has dual SIM support with dual 5G standby, but availability between markets may vary. The user interface is MIUI 13, based on Android 12.
Xiaomi 12 Lite is available in three color options – black, pink and green and in three memory layers. The 6/128GB version costs $ 400, upgrading to 8 / 128GB will set you back $ 450, while the top 8 / 256GB variant is $ 500. Pre-orders start today via Xiaomi-authorized online channels.
