The Chinese company, Xiaomi, recently released its new series of phones called “Xiaomi 12s” officially. And this flagship series contains three models including the regular version Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

This series of flagship phones comes with an upgrade on camera specifications. After the official launch of the Xiaomi 12S series, a new leaked report on the Xiaomi 13 series has now appeared.

According to the source, the Xiaomi series phones are currently using the “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2” processor. Moreover, the Xiaomi 13 series will not be the only Xiaomi flagship that uses this processor. He also revealed that the K series flagship of the Redmi brand is also testing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The main chip adopts the dual-platform strategy, and the high-end version of the mobile phone will use a 2K screen.

Xiaomi phone 13 will arrive in November or December

According to previous reports, the Xiaomi 13 series will come with a flexible curved screen with a resolution of 2K+, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. There are also reports that the Xiaomi 13 series will launch in November. Moreover, this Xiaomi flagship digital series may also appear with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

And remember, the previous series of Xiaomi phones arrived in December. This is because the main processor they are using (Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1) debuted in December.

However, with reports that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will arrive in November, the Xiaomi 13 is likely to launch in November as well.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Unlike its predecessor which uses a precision manufacturing process from Samsung, the SD8 Gen2 will use 4 nm manufacturing precision from TSMC. The slide will debut in the last quarter of the year. MediaTek will also release Dimensity 9000/8000 chips, which will also use TSMC’s 4nm process.
