It was reported recently that Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 14 series, which will include the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max on September 13th.
As the launch date approaches, analyst Ross Young reported today that the iPhone 14 Max production date is behind schedule. It is expected that this phone will be the first iPhone with a screen size of 6.7 inches and not a “Pro” model, which may cause some difficulties in the supply chain.
iPhone 14 Max production delayed
According to Young, the iPhone 14 Max panel shipments are still far behind the iPhone 14 Pro Max. He mentioned in his post today on TwitterShipments of the paintings are still “too late” than they are supposed to arrive. Analyst data comes to Supply Chain Information during the month of August.

The iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have the same screen size, but the panels themselves will be different. This is because iPhone 14 Max will lack support for ProMotion, Apple’s adaptive refresh rate technology that changes according to onscreen content that’s exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

A report from the Nikkei Asian Review in May indicated that production of the iPhone 14 Max could be delayed by at least three years due to the COVID-19 epidemic in China. Just hours later, Ming-Chi Kuo reported that although production of the iPhone 14 Max was behind schedule, the situation was “under control.”
The iPhone 14 Max is expected to be a huge success once it is launched. This will be the first time that Apple offers an iPhone with a 6.7-inch screen and not the price and features of the Pro version.
