Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition will actually be called M21 2021 Edition
A few weeks ago, a “Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition” appeared on the Samsung India website, but it seems that the company has changed when it comes to naming. Or the phone will be sold under a different name in other regions.
We say this because the same model number, SM-M215G, appeared on the Google Play console as “Galaxy M21 2021 Edition”. Unfortunately, for now, it only appears in the list of supported devices that do not contain any specifications.
The original Galaxy M21 was unveiled over a year ago as a more affordable version of the M31 with the same 6.4 ”Super AMOLED screen (1080p +), the same Exynos 9611, downgraded 48 + 8 + 5 MP rear camera and the same 6,000 mAh battery capacity (15W charging).
The M31 received a Prime version later in the year, which was almost identical to the original model. Back to the M215G model, renaming the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition gives some hope that it will provide more upgrades than a new coat of paint.

And do not forget that there is a Galaxy M22 on the way with a 6.4 ”Super AMOLED display, Helio G80 chipset, 48 MP main camera and 6,000 mAh battery, which will reportedly cost € 230 in Europe. There are also Galaxy M21s, which are an M21 with M31s cameras (making it almost the same phone).
